Current and Recent Experience

QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY

Currently serving as Director of the Interactive Media and Communications graduate program and visiting professor of communications. Previously, I worked as an adjunct professor with a full or 3/4 load of undergraduate courses each semester (8-10 classes per academic year), teaching communication, social media, public relations, writing, campaigns, biomedical ethics, and first year seminar. In addition, I have developed and taught a number of online courses, and I also led over 200 service-learning students to the Dominican Republic over a five year period. qu.edu

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MISSION TEAM 

I have led over 2,000 volunteers to serve the very poor in the Dominican Republic over the last 25 years. In addition, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Good Samaritan Hospital, coordinate grants and projects involving Rotary International, and facilitate a number of university teams. drmissionteam.org

YALE UNIVERSITY

I served as the communications officer for the prestigious Yale University School of Nursing, the oldest university-based school of nursing in the world. Here I was responsible for all aspects of traditional and digital communications for this graduate and doctoral studies school. nursing.yale.edu
